Results of cluster analysis (Bray-Curtis connected with UPGMA) on calanoid copepod community (a) and their NMDS plots (b). Seven groups (A to G) were identified from the cluster analysis, and the number of stations belonging to each group is shown in parentheses. The mean and standard deviation of their abundance and species diversity (cf. Figure 3) were calculated, and the number of species in each group is shown in the right column of (a). Arrows and values in (b) indicate the directions and r 2 values of the environmental parameters that showed a significant correlation with the NMDS ordination.
