Gastric digestion time in cornsnakes. Time after eating a meal equivalent to 10% of a snake's body mass until a magnetic stir bar passed from the stomach to the small intestine. Stir bars were placed in both the anus and esophagus of the prey. Open circles (○) represent the mean time for the first stir bar to pass into the small intestine, and closed circles (●) represent the mean time for the second stir bar to pass into the small intestine. Vertical bars represent 1 standard error above and below the mean. n = 8 snakes at each temperature.
