Gastric digestion time in cornsnakes. Time after eating a meal equivalent to 10% of a snake's body mass until a magnetic stir bar passed from the stomach to the small intestine. Stir bars were placed in both the anus and esophagus of the prey. Open circles () represent the mean time for the first stir bar to pass into the small intestine, and closed circles () represent the mean time for the second stir bar to pass into the small intestine. Vertical bars represent 1 standard error above and below the mean. n = 8 snakes at each temperature.
